I love to learn. I love new information and old information, books, journals, other people’s passions. I’m fascinated by the personal perspective and conflict. I believe we are what we think and that knowledge is power.

I like to live near large bodies of water and places that do not require shoveling snow for survival.

I have a formal advanced education and massive unforgiving student loan debt.

I am a lifelong learner. Current daily reading interests include: USDOL WHD, FLSA, FMLA, HR Analytics, HR technology, SHRM, CPC, Statistics, R Programming, RStudio, Analytics, RStudio with ggplot2 and dplyr. Anything from R-bloggers. AI and how it relates to the World of Work. Management (theory both old and new). Also online learning from Udemy, Coursera, Lynda.com, Ed2Go, and Edureka. Kindle Direct Publishing for self-publishing news and trends.

I completed an MBA in HR Management July 2015 from Excelsior College. I also have a BS in Business, Management and Economics with a concentration in Information Systems from SUNY Empire State College. I have a 6 month certificate in HIT, the Health Information Technology, Practice Work Flow and Information Management Redesign Specialist program from University of Hawaii Community Colleges. I studied Ray Optics for a stint and I taught myself how to sew, cook, garden, budget, and DIY like nobody’s business. I have become a logistics pro at moving a family across time zones.

I challenged myself to learn WordPress, Podcasting, Shopping Carts, Small Business Marketing, Amazon Seller (FBA), Shopify, Ebay, FaceBook marketing and USPTO.  I have an insatiable need to make things better.
