Today I am reading Chapter 7, Portals Into the #Unmanifested from the book The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle. I love this chapter. I had the same questions as Tolle asks in the very first chapter, “I don’t seem to be able to go more deeply, as you suggested earlier.”
Thankfully, we are provided the answer, “Make it into a #meditation.” And so Chapter 7 walks us through that meditation on how to enter the “all-encompassing sense of presence or “#beingness,” and the inner body is felt to be without a boundary.” But he guides us further, going deeply into the body to transcend the body.

“Every portal is a portal of death, the death of the false self. When you go through it, you cease to derive your identity from your psychological, mind-made form. You then realize that death is an illusion, just as your identification with form was an illusion. The end of illusion- that’s all that death is. It is painful only as long as you cling to illusion.
